Herb Burhenn’s Class – meets in the Paul George room
The class has been studying Christian creeds and confessions. We try to understand how Christian doctrinal ideas have developed and how the formulation of these ideas differs across the many denominational traditions. This fall we shall be looking at Methodist and Baptist confessions and then at several modern Roman Catholic statements, beginning with the Council of Trent.
Pam Smith and Gary Hart’s class – meets in the conference room, next to Pastor’s office
This class started with A Purpose Driven Life. We then studied the book of James and have just begun Romans. Our discussions usually revolve around how these words should be directing our lives in today’s world.
Barbara Weinhold’s Daily Discipleship class – meets in the other side of the Paul George room
This class is involved in a study of the assigned Gospel lesson for the day. What is God telling us in these lessons about our lives today?

Youth Yard Sale
September 6

The youth yard sale should be great this year. We've had a lot of donations already and they're still coming in. It's in the gym and the youth group will be staying all night Friday to set up. See you there!
Notes from the Developer
June 30,2008
Content for the PDO has been filtering in smoothly and much progress has been made on that side of the site. I am looking forward to finishing it soon and starting on the links on the top and left side, developing the pages and inserting the content. I will start teaching Pam and Emily how to add and change content to the site this wednesday.
June 15, 2008
I will begin working with Emily this week and next for the PDO side of the site. This is the single biggest side of the site with a lot of information that has to relayed to the parents and puplic. Things are going smoothly so far and input at this time is positive to the design and layout. As I continue to work on the PDO pages the links assocciated with them on the home page will start working so click on them and let Emily know what you think, feedback will get to me.

This is a work in progress. What you see here will go through many changes and refining until I get to the final copy. Input from you is crucial at every stage so check back often. No input tells me I'm heading in the right direction. My process starts with a framework that has limited functionality to get a good feel visually and to gauge future end user functionality and experience.
The nonsense text used through out the site is "Lorem ipsum." It is used as a visual reference for future text. Just be aware that what you see here may change as text, graphics, and pages are added and tested to check browser compatibilities, functionality, screen resolution problems and ease of use.
Enjoy the process,
Jeff
