Herb Burhenn’s Class – meets in the Paul George room

This class has been studying Christian creeds and confessions.  We try to understand how Christian doctrinal ideas have developed and how the formulation of these ideas differs across the many denominational traditions.  This fall we shall be looking at Methodist and Baptist confessions and then at several modern Roman Catholic statements, beginning with the Council of Trent.

Pam Smith and Gary Hart’s class – meets in the conference room, next to Pastor’s office

This class started with A Purpose Driven Life.  We then studied the book of James and just finished Romans.  Our discussions usually revolve around how words from the Bible should be directing our lives in today’s world.

Barbara Weinhold’s Daily Discipleship class – meets in the other side of the Paul George room

This class is involved in a study of the assigned Gospel lesson for the day.  What is God telling us in these lessons about our lives today?
